It is an honor to represent the Hamilton County Democratic Party as candidate for Sheriff. I am excited about the opportunity to serve our county at a time when strong leadership and integrity are needed in the Sheriff Department. My years of serving on the County Commission and working in the county jail give me a depth of experience for this administrative position.
Through a five-point strategic plan, I will bring a new definition and a new direction to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. The first step in our work will be to bring public confidence to the office of Sheriff. I will work to bring healing and resolve legitimate concerns for the department employees’. I have cost effective solutions for improving safety and over crowding in the county jail. Together with the employees we will define “Standards of Excellence” for all organizations within the department. I will reach out to the security leadership of all municipalities in Hamilton County for input in strategic planning.
As you can see, we have a lot of work to be done to move the Sheriff’s department in the right direction. I am asking you to join with me to forge a new definition and a new direction for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. Working together we can make this a Sheriff’s Department that represents you and works to improve the safety of our living space.
